Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur, Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Ahmad Fuad bin Ismail graced the key-handing-over ceremony for Blocks A & B of Condominium Sentul Utama, Bandar Sentul Utama, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. The project was abandoned for nearly 15 years and was successfully rescued by Melati Ehsan Group.

The 19th of March 2007 saw amongst the most significant events of the Company’s history; the official listing of Melati Ehsan Holdings Berhad on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia under the construction sector (Stock Code: 5129/Melati). Melati Ehsan’s listing meant a new chapter for the group and the capital acquired has provided the group with the financial backing required to take on bigger jobs. The auspicious event saw support from many business associates and friends.

The project was implemented to resolve the traffic congestion issue at the Free Trade Zone (FTZ), Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Its completion meant providing an additional lane along Jalan SS 8/2 towards the LDP junction and the inclusion of elevated sections (bridges) along Jalan SS7/2 and the Federal Highway (FT002). The opening ceremony was officiated by Y.B. Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, the Minister of Public Works on the 19th of October 2006.
