Mr. Yap Wei Sam was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Company on 1 March 2021. He is a member of the Remuneration Committee of the Company.

Mr. Yap graduated from London School of Economics, United Kingdom in 2018. He started his career with Melati Ehsan Group in 2018, involving himself in the business development, corporate affairs and administration of the Group.

Mr. Yap is actively involved in a wide portfolio of construction projects and development schemes. He has participated in various tender and contract award processes and oversees numerous successful joint ventures and the business development plans of the Group. The new generation foresight and perspective of Mr Yap is essential in the succession planning and development of Melati Ehsan Group.
